Public Health Guidelines for Area 1P for Fall 2021

- Coaches - Masks REQUIRED during all practices and games.
- Spectators - Masks REQUIRED during all practices and games. Spectators should maintain a modicum of social distance as another safety measure.
- Players - Masks are recommended, but not required, when playing or practicing. Masks are required when not actively playing or practicing, including when sitting out as a sub. Players may lower their masks to drink.
- Referees - Masks recommended, for Center and assistant referees during game play. Masks required at all other times. (see detailed referee requirements here)
- All local school, city and county guidelines take precedence and must be followed. Below is a summary of the LA County Guidelines for Youth Sports
Summary of LA County Guidelines:
- A weekly negative test result is required for all participants 12 and older who are not fully vaccinated, including children who are playing, staff, coaches, volunteers and spectators; weekly school testing fulfills this obligation.
- Fully vaccinated youth are not required to test weekly unless there is a positive case among players, coaches and/or staff.
- If there is a positive case, all players, coaches, staff and volunteers (regardless of vaccination status) are required to have a weekly negative test result for two weeks from exposure to the case and must test negative prior to competitions.
